This is guaranteed to be the easiest and most informative test you have ever taken. You can’t fail so don’t get nervous. It will help you assess where you are breathing from and help you understand your regular breathing patterns.
You can sit in a chair or lie down on the floor. Just get yourself comfortable. Place one hand on your belly and one hand on your chest. Breathe in. As you breathe in notice which hand rises first, your belly or your chest? Not sure? Try again and be honest.
Next, breathe in and notice if on your inhale your shoulders go up towards your ears?
Last one, breathe in and notice if your mouth is open or closed?
